PRESS RELEASE: Second round of guests announced!

South Texas Comic Con 2017 announced the next round of guests including Edward James Oleos and WWE Diva Lita!

MCALLEN, TEXAS – Dec. 12, 2016, South Texas Comic Con ( has announced several more guests scheduled to appear at South Texas Comic Con 2017.

Newly announced special guests include –

  • Edward James Olmos is an American actor and director. Among his most memorable roles are William Adama in Battlestar Galactica, Lieutenant Martin “Marty” Castillo in Miami Vice, teacher Jaime Escalante in Stand and Deliver, patriarch Abraham Quintanilla, Jr. in the film Selena and Detective Gaff in Blade Runner. Mr. Olmos will be appearing on Saturday April 29th and Sunday April 30th.
  • Amy Dumas, better known as Lita, is a WWE Hall of Famer, 4-time WWE Women’s Champion and arguable the most popular Diva in WWE History. Lita will be appearing on Saturday April 29th and Sunday April 30th.
  • Cosplay Guests Mariedoll, Megan B and Christina Faye will be appearing all 3 days of South Texas Comic Con.
