COVID-19 UPDATE

Hello South Texas Comic Con friends,

After much consideration we are sorry to say South Texas Comic Con 2020 has been cancelled.

The past couple of weeks we have had many discussions and searched for alternative dates to try and have the event this year but unfortunately we have been unable to solidify a date we feel would be within a time frame that would be safe for our fans to come together in such a large gathering. We feel the best choice for our community and our fans is to look ahead and focus on making a bigger and better event, now scheduled for April 2021.

TICKETHOLDERS

• If you’ve purchased physical tickets via a local outlet you can receive a refund at that same location when the shelter in place/essential business only order is lifted from the cities/counties the locations are in.

• For tickets purchased via GrowTix online, they will start rolling out refunds this week and all tickets will be fully refunded minus credit card processing fees. Please note that we as an event and the ticketing company GrowTix are not retaining any portion of ticket fees, the only non-refundable portion is the credit card processing fee which is a third party company.

VENDORS & ARTISTS

• We will be sending an email shortly detailing the options available to you regarding rolling booths over into future events and locking in your price and location or refunding your booth space.

As refunds are issued we kindly ask for everyones understanding and patience as we are taking necessary steps to begin the process.

We were very much looking forward to seeing all our friends and fans next month, and we truly appreciate every person who has supported our events for the past 8 years. Although this was a tough decision to make, and we are deeply saddened by the turn of events, we feel more determined than ever to come back strong with a spectacular event for all of you next year.

Stay safe, we’ll see you at Anime Fiesta in October and Comic Con in 2021!
